Christian Caudle, a sophomore catcher from A&M Kingsville, will join for his second season with the Generals. Caudle joined the team as a replacement in mid-June for Dakota Phillips (broken finger)   doing a solid job both offensively and defensively.  Caudle finished up the season hitting .319 in 27 games  with 30 hits, two doubles, 11 RBI's and eight walks.

2015 (Fr.): Appeared in 18 games, starting 11 behind the plate and as the designated hitter… hit .293 with eight RBI and eight runs scored… tallied a .375 on-base percentage… went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in first career start in win versus Texas College (Feb. 21)… finished 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two base on balls at No. 20 St. Edward’s (March 24)… fourteen putouts at No. 20/27 St. Mary’s (April 7)… perfect 4-for-4 at the dish with a double and run scored in win versus Cameron (April 11)… five consecutive games with an RBI (April 17-24)… scored three runs, walked twice and stole first career bag in win at Eastern New Mexico (April 18)… came off the bench with an RBI single versus No. 11 St. Mary’s (April 28).

High School: Attended Klein High School in Spring, Texas… earned three varsity letters… recorded six home runs and held a .375 batting average… awarded Newcomer of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, MVP, two time all-district, All-Houston… team captain… appeared on the all-star team.

Christian Caudle also had an outstanding week hitting .571 (8-14) with six runs scored, eight RBI's, with one home run, two doubles, and a walk to compile a .600 on-base percentage. Caudle also was solid defensively behind the plate throwing out two base runners on the week. With Caudle's outstanding week, he raised his batting average from .250 to .318 on the season.
