Biography:

Jose Diaz, a native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, is a utility player that will play numerous positions for the Generals this season. (As of March 15) Diaz has appeared in 25 games, 80 at bats, 26 hits, 19 runs scored (team leader in all these categories) with eight doubles, a triple, nine RBI's and 10 walks. Diaz is also perfect on the bases with 13 stolen bases in 13 attempts. Diaz will also see some time on the mound this Summer for the Generals.
