CITY MORTGAGE GROUP PLAYER OF THE WEEK (7/16-7-23)

Congratulations to Luis Vargas for being selected as our City Mortgage Group Player of the Week. Vargas had an outstanding week appearing in four games with 16 at-bats, nine hits, two doubles, two home runs, nine RBI's, two walks and a pair of stolen bases. Vargas' first home run of the week was a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth against the Texarkana Twins giving the Generals a 7-5 victory. On the week, Vargas hit .563 with an on-base percentage of .600 and a slugging percentage of 1.063. Congratulation Luis on another fantastic week.

Congratulations to Luis Vargas for being named City Mortgage Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks. Vargas had an outstanding week hitting .500 with an on-base percentage of .706 with one triple, one home run, three runs scored, four RBI's, seven walks and three stolen bases, Vargas hit a game winning home run on August 2nd for a 7-6 victory over the Cane Cutters.
